This Saturday, all eyes are on Man-O-War Cay! Itís the 31st Annual Man-O-War Flea Market and itís sure to be a good one! Last year saw record numbers and this year looks promising as well! All event proceeds go to support the Man-O-War Primary School. Ferryís run from the mainland all day, so no matter where on Abaco you are coming from, you can make it over to the Cay for a wonderful time.
From the local vendors handmade goods, delicious homemade treats and the white elephant stall, to the raffle and silent auction, thereís a little something for everyone. Thereís even entertainment for the kids with soldier crab races and a bouncy castle.
Grab some home made ice cream and have a stroll around town. Donít forget to stop by Sallyís Seaside Boutique or The Sail Shop for some unique hand made souvenirs. Man-O-War Cay is one of those places that I could see myself retiring to. The whole community has such a quiet, friendly atmosphere and any of the locals would go out of their way to help someone in need.
One of our newest listings is a dream home if I ever saw one. Tree House is perched just above tree level, giving commanding views of the Atlantic Ocean just a few steps away. Tree House was designed to allow the cool Caribbean breeze to flow unobstructed through the house and itís wrap around porches guarantee you wonít miss a single sunrise or sunset. Itís the ultimate getaway for when you need to get away.
So, head on over to Man-O-War Cay this weekend and see for yourself what makes this small island a cut above the rest.
